When nature and mystical come together

As with most artists, as the years have changed, so has my influences and my artwork, working mainly in watercolours and acrylics. For many years I have been inspired by the art and spiritual beliefs of other cultures, in particular Ancient Egyptian and Native American Indian imagery, which is reflected in some of my artwork My paintings are often influenced by the spiritual and angelic realm, where symbolic imagery can often come in meditation and dreams.
Although much of my work is imaginative, being a nature, with the trees, flowers and animals helps to bring out my love and creativity for a natural environment. My recent work in particular is driven by the changes of the seasons and observations of wildlife as I walk around the lake and woodlands.
